A bit further down the rabbit hole I go

I'll start this one off just assuming that no one has read my maiden post or the ones following it. Here's a brief rundown of my experience with the numbers 33 and 333.

It began in the mid-later part of 2002. I was a 16 year old sophomore in a small town in the valley of California. I did have access to the internet but this was a time when the internet we know was in diapers. You couldn't just look up anything like you can now. I can't say the exact moment it happened, but at some point in this time of my life, I began seeing the numbers 33 and 333 everywhere. It would always show up on receipts, the back of sports jerseys, randomly spray painted on a baseball dugout at my Mother's old elementary school in Belmont, CA.  There was a point where I realized, okay, I'm seeing this much more often than I should. I told my family and friends about it but no one seemed to have much interest in it. Some thought I was exaggerating. Others believed I was purposely looking for them. My classmates at the time scared me into thinking that March 3, 2003 (3-3-03) would be the day of my death. That date came along and nothing happened. After that, the numbers seemed to go away. Possibly because I was trying to ignore it or just going through a transitional period of my life when the real world was about to approach. It wasn't until about 5 years later that the numbers returned in full force. And now, in 2013, I still see them daily. Now that the internet is a functionable resource tool, I felt it was time to finally get to the bottom of this weirdness.  To my surprise, it turned out that this phenomenon is not totally uncommon. People have reported for a while that they too see patterns in numbers. 333 is a spiritual or angel number if you will. The following are some common interpretations:

Seeing any repeating number is a sign that there is a current issue in your life and the numbers are a sign to get you to pay attention. It is a persons subconscious trying to make them aware of something consciously.

Number 333 resonates with the vibrations and energies of number 3, appearing three times, tripling its influences.

"This sign indicates that your Spirit Guides agree with your thoughts and feelings and could be interpreted as a Cosmic 'Yes!' to questions you have asked or ideas you may have."

So let's get in to the "3" aspect of all of this. Here's where it gets a little weird.
I am the 3rd son to my Mother.
She is the 3rd child of her Mother.
I was raised on 3rd street.
I was born on January 3rd.
These are all objective facts. Whether or not they mean anything beyond a simple coincidence, I may never well know.

But it doesn't stop there.
This is a card my Mother had to fill out on the day I entered this material realm.

Notice the room number is 330A. It was scratched out and replaced with a 321B. I asked my Mom why this was. She doesn't remember why she wrote anything the way she did. Maybe I was born in the 33 room and placed in 32 with the other newborns? I can't say. The fact of the matter is, a 33 was written down on the day of my birth.

After I found this card while looking through a box of old memories, I found the certificate for my baptism.

The envelope having a 33 in the zip code for where my family lived in 1986.

And the baptism itself occurring on March 30 (3-30).

But it doesn't stop there.

That's a 333 on the back of my social security card. Ya know, that vital piece of documentation given to you when you become an official resident of this reality?

I feel like these are all big, cosmic signs that at this point, are just beating me over the head, screaming, "PAY ATTENTION!" But to what?

I suppose it's anyones guess at this point. A part of me feels like the answers are all inside me and it's only a matter of knowing where and how to look.

In a few days, I will be moving back to New Mexico for a 3rd time. Hoping that it will be a charm. To a house with an address reading 1133.
I hit a very low point in my life last month, and things got scary. Thoughts of suicide had entered into my head for the first time in my life. It was a shock to my system and really jolted me awake. I can safely say now that those thoughts are so ridiculously frightening that I will do whatever I can to make sure I never have them again. The one thing that made me not go through with a very devastating and fatal decision was the note I would leave behind. I realized while thinking about writing it, that it would be too long. There are so many people in my life that I appreciate more than words could ever express. There are so many thoughts and feelings I want to share, but haven't yet. It made me realize that if that's the case, then how depressed can I really be? I also came to the conclusion that maybe sometimes, you have to hit your lowest point before you can begin climbing back to the top. The morning after I had these morbid feelings infect my consciousness, I found this on the windshield of my car...

Inside the paper was a 10$ gift card to Safeway. I guess it's important to note too that I've never received anything like this before. For whatever reason, the person who decided to place this on my car felt like mine was more worthy than the 12 others cars on my street?

It is undeniable to me, that there is something going on in this world far beyond any of our comprehension. Perhaps these subtle signs are just glimpses into the true reality.
What that reality is...is anyone's guess.

Meg Foster and her hypnotic eyeballs

The following events occurred on Monday, March 4, 2013.

First point to make is that during Monday morning, my brother mentioned to me that ever since I told him about the owl that sometimes shows up outside the right side of the house, he now has been hearing it. And he didn't before I brought it up.

Monday started off with a video of Bill Hicks:

Between 3 and 3:30 pm, I was on the computer watching a trailer for Rob Zombie's 'Lords of Salem'. Toward the end, when they showed three witches, I noticed one of them resembling an old wrinkly Meg Foster (They Live, Oblivion (1994), Masters of the Universe). So I head to IMDb to see if it's her. It was her and it just so happens that one of her more recent credits is a film called '333'.

I should also note something I just realized while writing this. The two movies in question have her playing a character with two Ms. MM resonating Mercury's Messenger AKA Christopher Hunter Myers. Someone who has recently piqued my interest in Magick.

So it turns out '333' was retitled, 'Tormented Souls'. While watching the film's trailer, this screenshot appears:

"This world is a lie and mankind's only wish is to be deceived."

It was at this point that I started hearing hooting. Yes, the owl happened to show up outside the window at the exact moment of synchronicity. I went outside to look at it but it was already gone.

Fast forward about an hour. We're out and about, looking for a fix-it part (I don't want to bore myself with the details yet alone the reader). The person I'm with wanted a drink so we stop at a gas station. When we get there, I see a woman just staring at a dog tied up outside. I didn't see anything particularly interesting about it. That was until it looked at me. Jet black fur and piercing blue/white eyes. I shit you not, Meg Foster eyes like a motherfucker. This picture might not show exactly how hypnotic they were, but it definitely stood out as something meaningful.

It always blows my mind when something like this happens. For one, I could have chosen to go to any gas station in town. But it just so happened that we ended up at one containing a dog with Meg Foster eyes. And the timing is a factor also. Had we taken a wrong turn, hit a stop light/traffic, that dog may not have been there.

Weird shit. Weird, weird shit.

Tuesday tuesday tuesday

So it was the afternoon of Wednesday, January 23rd that I was having lunch with my friend John. It never usually takes us long to get in to the esoteric discussions. I had mentioned to him how sometimes I'll rent 2 or 3 movies with little to no discernible connection and end up finding similarities. Whether it be theme, same actors, or even an obscure reference that just so happens to appear in both/all films.  Actually, I once watched the classic John Ritter rumpus, 'Stay Tuned' and realized how similar the plot was to the recent, 'Cabin in the Woods'.  Maybe I'll write an entry on that one day.

So Wednesday night, I decided to rent some vids. I end up getting 'The Three Musketeers', 'Tower Heist', and 'The Fourth Kind.'  I haven't seen any of them before and I watch them in that order. 'Three Musketeers' wasn't the worst thing ever, but it wasn't the best thing either. I got exactly what I expected out of it. At times, it was fun and action packed and the cast was good even if they didn't have a lot to work with. One line that is repeated twice in the film goes like this:

Constance: Are you always this cocky?
D'Artagnan: Only on Tuesdays...and whenever beautiful women are involved.

There are no other days mentioned throughout the film.

On to 'Tower Heist'. Pretty solid cast, but in the end, Eddie Murphy is the only one who can make me laugh. And as far as sex appeal goes, you will have to look elsewhere. All they give you is Tea Leoni and the girl from 'Precious'. Yeah, it is what it is. Tea plays a cop, Claire Denham, Ben Stiller is Josh Kovaks. There's one scene where they get a little tipsy together at a NY watering hole.

Claire: The last time I drank this much at a bar, I made out with a firefighter.
Josh: Really? How long ago was that?
Claire: Tuesday.
(They both laugh)

When this scene occurred, I was taken back a little. It was obvious enough of a reference to write down.

I watched 'The Fourth Kind' the next morning. I was waiting for a Tuesday reference. Of course, if the movie ended up having a scene where some woman reads her weekly planner aloud, then I wouldn't have counted it.  About an hour and 15 minutes in, I figured if it hadn't happened yet, it probably won't.
Low and behold:

Man interviewing main character:
Interviewer: Let's go back three days. To Tuesday.

And yes, that is the only time a day is mentioned throughout the entire film.

Also, there were about 6 or 7
33 or 333s. And SPOILER ALERT...the alien abductions occurred at 3:33 am.
It is what it is, and if it wasn't, it would be something else.

Besides these apparent Tuesday references, there were two other similarities to note.

Milla Jovovich appears in both 'Musketeers' and 'Fourth Kind'.

A chess game between Kovacs and his antagonist in 'Tower Heist' is an underlying theme throughout the movie and there is a chess match between the Cardinal and the young King of France in 'Musketeers'.

Tuesday
The English name is derived from Old English Tiwesdæg and Middle English Tewesday, meaning "Tīw's Day", the day of Tiw or Týr, the god of single combat, victory and heroic glory in Norse mythology. Tiw was equated with Mars in the interpretatio romana, and the name of the day is a translation of Latin dies Martis.

The Latin name dies Martis ("day of Mars") is equivalent to the Greek ἡμέρα Ἄρεως. In most languages with Latin origins (French, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, Romanian, Gallician, Sardinian, Corsican, but notPortuguese), the day is named after Mars, the Roman god of war.

  • Black Tuesday, in the United States, refers to Tuesday, October 29, 1929, part of the great Stock Market Crash of 1929. This was the Tuesday after Black Thursday. The crash is said to have marked the start of the Great Depression.
  • Patch Tuesday is the second Tuesday of every month when Microsoft releases patches for their products. Some system administrators call this day Black Tuesday.
  • Shrove Tuesday (also called Mardi Gras - fat Tuesday) precedes the first day of Lent in the Western Christian calendar.
  • Super Tuesday is the day many American states hold their presidential primary elections.

-Wikipedia

I don't wish for anything bad to happen on Tuesday, and I hope me even talking about this, is okay. But let's just say that January 29th rolls around and something does occur, you can come back here and see the time stamp below. I may even be lucky and Tuesday could bring something good. Or Tuesday can come and go like most other Tuesdays.

If the universe was trying to convey messages via media, then Tuesday IS a message. What that message may entail, if anything, is up to me to figure out.

Can't stop won't stop till the panties drop

I bought my brother a wolf calendar today.

It had two UPC codes on the back. Of course, one had a 33 and the other, a 333.

I sync, therefore I am

I got my Superman: Elseworld comic in the mail yesterday.

This is the "what-if" one that invites the question, "What if baby Kal-El's space vessel crash landed in Gotham City, NY instead of Smallville, KS?"

Okay, now that I got that out of the way, I'll stop geeking out all over your face.

I was pleased to see what came with it.

A 33 on the front and a 333 on the back.

FURTH3RANC3

Perhaps I'm looking for meaning where there is none.
Just the same, I can't ignore a coincidence involving my own life...

I am the 3rd child of my parents.
My Mother is the 3rd daughter of her parents.
I was born on the 3rd of the month.
I grew up on 3rd street.

The Baler of Destiny

Thursday. September 20th. 1:45 pm.
I was having a conversation with my brother about a recent dream I had.  I had work at 2, and left the house at 1:50.  While on the way to start my shift, I remembered another portion of the previous evening's dream. I dreamt of the baler at work. The big ol' green bastard that molds loose cardboard in to a neatly packed cube.  In the dream, a co worker had told me that the baler was broken. I didn't really react. I figured, I dreamt this scenario because Thursday is the day that I make a bale. I thought to myself, that would be neat if my subconscious was laying out bread crumbs. Maybe I would go to work and find a 20 dollar bill next to the baler.

So I get to work, I go to the baler and look for anything different or strange. Part of me thought I might find an owl or something equally significant. On the front of the machine, there are ridges.  Ridges big enough to hold random items. Usually these items are damaged products or just loose tools. Hammers, screwdrivers, etc. Today, I noticed an orange toy, a hairspray bottle, packaging to a toy car, some gloves, and a pair of scissors. Nothing too odd. I go about my business and make the bale. When I'm done, I close the door (hatch?). Something falls off the ridge and on to the ground. It's the orange toy.

Which by further inspection, seems to be a cement mixer? I examine it closely. On the bottom, it says Made in China. But there's something else on the vibrant orange plastic.

7333, with the 7 kind of hiding behind the wheel. This is where my heart started beating fast. My chest was pumping, I was so freaked out. That is just TOO fucking weird, right? What are the Gods (BSG anyone?) Damn odds?

Immediately, this situation reminded me of the choosing process from 'Seven Years in Tibet'. The scene where they are trying to find the new Dalai Lama by exposing children to certain objects to see if they "make the right choice". A similar scene occurs in the 4th season episode of 'LOST', "Cabin Fever". Too weird man....too fucking weird.

Ask and ye shall receive

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

I never really thought about the story behind the bible verse/phrase that a lot of people have heard through out their lives. So here's a theory...
While keeping up with the works of specific synchronicity observers (notably Christopher C. Myers, Alan Abbadessa-Green, Andras Jones, Jake Kotze) I have noticed that a lot of it has to do with following the signs. If you follow the signs, you will find your destiny. Which reminds me of the awesome quote from 'Jeff, Who Lives at Home':

"Everyone and everything is interconnected in this universe. Stay pure of heart and you will see the signs. Follow the signs, and you will uncover your destiny."
-Jeff

I have already taken note that synchronicity seem to occur a lot more often when I am in a happy and positive mood. Luckily, I've had some great moods lately, so the syncs have been flowing like the salmon of Capistrano.
Recently, I needed a little extra cash. I've never been very good with finances.  I decided to sell my video camera. It's outdated and I already told myself I wouldn't film with it again.  So I post it on craigslist. 3 weeks. No hits. One guy shows some interest but he doesn't make an offer.  So on Saturday, September 8, I'm sitting at the computer, thinking of how I need some cash. That's when I get a call. It's the interested buyer. He says he'll buy it, so I meet up with him. I get the 50 bucks I asked for the camera and was stoked to have some spending dough. That's when it happens. The man tells me:

"I work for a television station."

ME: "Oh cool, which one?"

"Telemundo 33"

Of course a 33 came up. That's when I thought about following the signs. 33 being an indication that you're on the right path, made total sense at this moment. I was ecstatic by the synchrotastic awesomeness. Fast forward to that evening. I had thought that morning how I needed to get some more of my favorite lotion. As far as I knew, I could only get it in the bay area, specifically through my aunt. Well, I see said Aunt on Saturday evening and she has a present for me. I go to her daughter's hotel room to get it. She's in Room 233. And the gift is the exact brand of lotion I needed. I never once told anyone that I needed a refill.

Ask.....and ye shall receive.

Strange Days

For anyone who has read my previous posts, you'll notice that I frequently talk about the 333 phenomenon.
On August 23rd, 2012 (I think it's significant to note that the following events occurred on 23) I "accidentally" discovered a new blog while perusing the interwebs for some synchronistic goodies.  The blog in question is Mike Clelland's 'Hidden Experience'. So I'm scrolling through, just browsing, when 333 shows up. Of course it does. He has a post about a recent podcast he's done where he discusses 333 and its relation to UFOs. This is news to me. I've been probing the history of this number for the last 2 years, and never found any overwhelming evidence of it's connection with extraterrestrials. Besides of course the fact that Roswell, NM is located on the 33rd parallel and that the mountain that 33% of the angels descended upon, was supposedly on this same line.  I immediately download the podcast.

Mike talks about his own number syncs, specifically with 12345 and how he conversed with a girl named Megan on facebook. A woman who claimed to have been abducted by UFOs.  One night, he's watching the film 'Catfish' and the movie freezes on the scene occurring when the main character says something along the lines of, "Megan isn't who she said she is." Mike notices to his surprise that the timer on the DVD player reads, 1 hour 23 minutes and 45 seconds.  Later he discusses the 333/UFO connection.  3:33 am being a common time where people report having otherworldly encounters. 3:33 am also being a time where the human body would essentially be at its weakest and most vulnerable. His interview ended, and no more than second later, I look at the clock to make sure I won't run late for work. The oven clock reads 1:23 pm. If that wasn't a sign hitting me over the head, I don't what is.

I decided to look in to this alien abduction enigma more intently.  I found it very intriguing that not only is a number I've been seeing since puberty is involved but also owls. I can't remember when it started, but for at least 5 years now, I've had an urging to be surrounded by the animals. Now it's to the point where there are a dozen or so owl trinkets sitting on my bookcase, watching over me every night and the collection only continues to expand.  This is where "paranoia" steps in. A flood of thoughts fills my head. It's not possible I've been abducted right? I've never given the idea much thought. If any.  It seems to me that if you've had an experience with something beyond a human, that there would be some remnants of said event.  That's the problem with traumatic events though. The human mind is so powerful that if an individual experiences something overwhelmingly disturbing or intense, or perhaps just something so odd that it doesn't fit in your reality construct, then you will "forget" about it. Some inklings of a memory may remain or you might wipe it out completely. Repressed memories. They are scary. So I guess that the aliens doing these abductions could be using a technology that strictly inhibits recalling specific memories on their prey.  But also, it could be a simpler explanation. That these beings could be wiping their memory, but can't battle the overall power of the human mind. That sometimes, a human's consciousness will refuse to forget about something, and continually put forward clues for its host body to re-discover the truth.

And just a nice little synchrotastic log to add to the fire...
After listening to this podcast, I just wanted to see if my blog was coming up on google. So I searched '333 Dominic Risso'.  The first page was a man named Dominic Rizzo's twitter account. His handle of course being @drizz333.

And now the clincher. After I did a little research, I decided to e-mail Mike. Any time I see someone talk about 333, I'll go out of my way to ask them for assistance in my ongoing quest for answers. Mike was kind enough to write me back. He said: "...I am not sure what these might mean, but I sense it is a cosmic "urging" to pay attention. Beyond that, i can't really say." I found it interesting because when I conversed with synchromystic blogger, Christopher C. Myers, he said something very similar. I couldn't help but think though, "WHAT AM I PAYING ATTENTION TO???"  The next day, on August 24th, I woke up to news about a shooting at the empire state building. Just another shooting to add to the list, which seem to be occurring quicker than every before.  The shooting of course took place primarily on 33rd street.

In closing, I can't say I was abducted or that I even believe such a possibility is plausible. I'm very skeptical of the whole alien abduction phenom. But regardless, I've learned throughout the last couple years, that when the universe presents things to you in such an abrupt fashion, that even if it is balls to the walls owl shit crazy, that it's not a bad thing to look in to it.  It doesn't matter if you believe it or not. You can be an atheist and read the bible and not burst in to flames.

The Shadow Man Cometh

I'll be the first one to admit that I'm a scaredy-cat. It's never taken much to startle me. Walk around the corner at the right moment and you'll most likely jolt me. I've always been afraid of things. Even to this day, I battle with a moderate fear of the dark. This all started about 2 months ago that one night when I was on mushrooms, I walked out the front door and saw a figure on the sidewalk. All black. It didn't even look like this "person" was wearing clothes necessarily. It looked like the cut out of a human, but with no dimensions. He was all black. Like a walking abyss of nothingness. Basically, this figure acted like he noticed me standing there. It's head turned at me abruptly and then quickly started shuffling its feet and began running toward me. To say the least, I freaked the fuck out and slammed the door shut. Breathing heavy and being scared as shit, I panicked and tried locking the door as quickly as possible. I was actually in such a state of fear, that I really couldn't get the lock to turn over. I stood there, with my hands on the door, holding it shut, breathing hard, my heart pumping rapidly, just hoping this being/figure/man/meth head, whatever it was, didn't try and get in the house. After about 15 seconds, I realized no one was there. I opened the door and saw no one. Not even someone walking down the street. Hands down, one of the scariest things I've ever experienced. The whole situation reminded me of a nightmare. In my dreams, I've always escaped scary situations by curling up in to a ball, which to this day, still wakes me up. A defense mechanism I suppose. But this wasn't a dream. This was reality. This was something occurring in front of my waking eyes.

By the by, I refer to this being as The Shadow Man. It makes the most sense to me. "Shadow Man" also conjures memories of Mega Man. Who fought a master robot with the same name. It just so happens that this character appears in Mega Man 3. Which also was my favorite of the Mega Man series. If that wasn't enough, before I began writing this article, I looked up Shadow Man's level on MM3, on youtube. The video for it is 3:30 minutes long.

So now,  let's talk about Monday, August 20th 2012. Around 6 am, I was dreaming. I was sleeping over at a friend's house, in his brother's room, since he was out and about at the time. Basically, the part of the dream I remembered is when I was standing on grass, looking at a street, with houses behind it. I assumed I was just in a front yard. In front of me, I see someone riding a bicycle. It's the Shadow Man! I shit you not. All black. No clothes. He turned to me, quickly, jumped off the bike and started sprinting toward me. He got so close that I saw him 2 inches away from my face. I was terrified and did what I do best, and curled up in to a ball. I jolted back in to reality. Breathing hard, sweating, thanking the Gods that I got to wake up.

The next day, I told the owner of the room about it. He said, non nonchalantly, "Oh, so you saw the shadow man, huh?" I was confused. I hadn't told him about my past experiences with this shadow being. He explains to me that his room has some weird shit going on in it.  He constantly has strange dreams and even sees shadow beings in his mirror sometimes. Pretty fucking bizarre if you ask me. Even though it was a terrifying dream, the possibility of a room with an invisible power like that intrigued me. I decided to sleep in the room again the next night so I could potentially call upon the shadow man in order to extinguish my fears and confront the demon, so to speak. The second night didn't attract the shadow man, but I did still dream. In fact, I became somewhat lucid in said dream.  Which in itself was rewarding seeing as how I've been attempting to harness the power of lucidity for about 2 decades. Very detailed and very auditory. I heard voices and sounds and I usually don't recall sounds in dreams.

So why is this happening? What is the potential cause of this flux of weird energy? It can't all be in my head, right? Others see shadow men too. Not just my friend.  After this dream, I simply googled, "Shadow Man". The wikipedia page being the first site. The way that people describe their encounters with these beings, is almost word for word how I felt. So no, this is not just in my head. This is not a coincidence.  My main theory is that this figure is either a manifestation of internal fear OR an inter dimensional being that preys on fear.  Whenever this Shadow Man turns and looks at me, it feels like I might be somewhere I'm not supposed to be and this being knows it. Running after me may simply be to chase me out of "his or her" world. I also think that maybe in whatever dimension this figure resides in, perhaps, I appear to him as a shadow man. It's all very intriguing. Only time will tell, but I feel like I haven't seen the last of the Shadow Man.

The Maiden Post

As far as the interweb is concerned, I am very new to the world of synchronicity and synchromysticism.  I am still in the early stages of getting the basics down, as far as literature on the subject goes.  Taking a note from Alan Abbadessa-Green, I am starting this blog as a diary for the strange events that are occurring in both my waking and sleeping life.  So just to get things started, let me tell you all a little about myself.

My name is Dominic Risso.  I am 25 years old, never had a serious job, and am finally becoming comfortable with that fact.  I have been immersed in film and art for my entire life.  My Mother tells me that when I was at the ripe age of 1, my favorite movies included 'Bambi' and 'Robocop'.  I have two older brothers.  As children, we would use the family camcorder to make our own movies.  Usually spoofs of 'Rocky V', 'Home Alone', and 'Aliens'.  Through out my childhood in to my teenage years, I continued to make short films and skits with my friends.  I still make them to this day.  I would say my ideas have progressed through out the years, but alas, I've never been paid in lieu of my film making skills.  I probably wouldn't have it any other way.

When I was a freshman in high school, a strange thing began to occur.  I started seeing the numbers 333 and 33, EVERYWHERE. Receipts, graffiti, football jerseys.  I didn't know what to make of this and since I wasn't aware of the internet at that time, I had no way of figuring out what the hell was going on.  I always thought of it as something bad.  Like a curse or a warning.  At one point, I honestly expected March 3rd, 2003 to be the date of my death.  3/3/3 came and went and after a few weeks from that date, the numbers started to recede.

Fast forward 7 years.  After a brief stint in New Mexico, while trying to get my life in order, I moved back to my old stomping grounds of the California Central Valley.  I moved in with my eldest brother.  A person who has always been in to cool things like UFOs, conspiracies, mysticism, and anything esoteric.  After living with him for a month or two, a delightful little surprise plopped in to my lap.  333 and his son, 33 graced me with their presence once again.  Now I knew that it was time to figure out what this was all about.  I simply googled, "Seeing 333 everywhere".  To my joy, I discovered that maybe this wasn't a bad omen after all.

333 - This sign indicates that your Spirit Guides agree with your thoughts and feelings and could be interpreted as a Cosmic 'Yes!' to questions you have asked or ideas you may have.

After reading this and other information on the history of the number, I decided to embrace this strange happenstance with open arms.  I began to think of myself as lucky.  Perhaps something bigger than myself and maybe the entire universe was choosing to communicate with me.

I grew up in a Catholic household. I was forced to go to church every Sunday until I was 18 years old.  Suffices to say, I stopped going on my 18th birthday. I hold no hard feelings toward the religion, I simply just didn't get it.  I never felt what I was constantly told I was "supposed" to feel.  From 18-25, I honestly didn't know if I believed in a higher power.  It wasn't until this last year that I really started figuring out what I believed in.  I'm happy to say that I have become a lot more spiritual than I ever was in the past. And to be honest, I feel right at home. I'm still on this personal journey toward self-discovery and I realize that it is a journey that never ends.  But let me tell you, I'm diggin' the ride.  I couldn't be happier, learning these new things that just click with me.

It was early 2011 that I began to watch Jake Kotze's amazing videos.  I was introduced to synchronicity and synchromysticism for the first time, but to be honest, I felt as if I always knew what it was, I just didn't know what to call it until now.  When I was a child, I was constantly coming up with ideas for films., whether they be simple synopses or full scripts.  I was always confused/surprised to later discover that a film in Hollywood was being made with the exact same plot.  If this were to happen today, I would either chalk it up to me reading about it on a movie site, and "forgetting", or more extensively, realizing that once an idea is formed, it is then part of this collective cloud of consciousness (333) that everyone has the ability to tap in to either subconsciously or unconsciously.

This thing called existence is a pretty bizarre carnival ride we're all on.  I'm still trying to figure out my place in it all. I've always been a very joyful, easy-going, happy person, so I like to think that maybe my contribution to this world is to spread happiness like mayo on a slice of bread.  And maybe even turn some people on to synchronicity in the process.

Like I said, this is starting off as a diary of these strange events, but who knows what will come out of it.
Only time will tell.

Enjoy 'Synchrotastic'.
