Perhaps I'm looking for meaning where there is none.
Just the same, I can't ignore a coincidence involving my own life...

              I am the 3rd child of my parents.
My Mother is the 3rd daughter of her parents.
I was born on the 3rd of the month.
       I grew up on 3rd street.
