2012 London Olympics

First off, let me say this...I do not know much about the 2012 Olympics, or any Olympic event for that matter, and I'm not going to pretend like I do.  One thing I do know is what I personally feel. As of right now, I feel something strange when I think about the upcoming summer Olympic games.  I've noticed a few things recently that seem to be possible "messages" or "signs" of an upcoming event.  Whether this hypothetical event will be positive or negative, I do not know.

It all reminds me of 9/11 and how you can now look at TV shows and movies from before 2001 and see these strange correlations to what transpired on that memorable day.  Some things can not be ignored.  I don't believe in coincidences as much as I once did and I believe that something may be happening. Let's take a look at a couple things.

CAPRICA. A syfy original series that aired from January 22, 2010 - November 30, 2010.  For those who don't know, Caprica is a prequel/spin-off of the 2004 series, Battlestar Galactica.  Both series contain political, religious, and technology themes, among others.  BSG focuses on the survivors of the 12 Colonies (One of which being Caprica) and their trek toward the mythical, "Earth" which may or may not exist.  They have been forced to abandon their home worlds because of a cataclysmic attack perpetrated by the artificially created race of beings known as the Cylons.  Caprica is set 50 years before the cataclysm and focuses on the evolution of the Cylons.  They began as mechanical tools and as you'll see from the show, progressed in to something else entirely. In the finale of the series, "Apotheosis", a rouge terrorist group that are constantly referred to as the Monotheists, attempt to scatter suicide bombers throughout Atlas Arena during a famed sporting event.  They hope it will end up looking something like this:

Unfortunately for the ones who worship The One True God, things don't go accordingly when Daniel Graystone, the creator of the Cylons becomes aware of their plot and re-programs the cylons at the stadium to take out the suicide bombers.

Basically, to the audience at Atlas Arena and the viewers at home, this all came off as a major crisis averted, thanks to technology.  In turn, this event ushers in a new age, so to speak.  The Shape of Things to Come.  To me, as nothing more than an observer, I took this as a way of introducing new technology to a society that was once skeptical about it.

The other thing I'll mention in this post is the latest scene I've noticed in a recent trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation at the theaters yesterday. The one stand out shot (And this could very well be because I had London 2012 on the brain) was this:

Yes, that would be London after being hit by a missile.  But don't you worry about something like that happening at the 2012 Olympics, which just so happens to be in London, because we'll have something like this on the roof of the stadium:

Ya know, "just in case".  

Now, I'm not suggesting that anything out of the ordinary will happen in London this summer.  But at the same time, I kind of am.  I don't know what will happen in 3 months, just like I don't know what will happen in 3 minutes from now.  But it's all very interesting to think about.  And for the time being, thinking is free.

Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na

I mentioned briefly in my February 7 post, a theoretical delay between human thought and material manipulation.  I've felt for the past week that this delay not only exists, but is getting exponentially shorter.
I don't even know if I can make it to December 21 before materializing a dinosaur in to existence. But I digress. Here's a few examples of my recent syncs.

Last night, I'm watching a clip of Andrew Garfield (The New Spider-Man) on 'Ellen'. In the background, I'm listening to Red Ice Radio's recent interview with J.J. & Desiree Hurtak. It was when Andrew said Ellen's name that no more than 2 seconds later, Desiree had mentioned Comet Elenin. I know, Elenin and Ellen are not the same words. But they're pretty damn close.

Fast forward to this afternoon. I'm listening to The Band's performance of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down".

While doing this, I'm reading Grant Morrison's bio on wikipedia. I'm skimming the words, when 1:08 in to the song approaches. It's at this point that the next words on the bio are these:

Brain Explosion

So last night, I text my friend Jason, for some music recommendations. Which by the way, he succeeded in quite well. We're talking back and forth about the songs he posted to my facebook wall. I send him a text at 12:49 am saying this:

To clear up something, my nick-name for my friend is "Lotion". Yeah, you had to have been there. Either way, this Brain Explosion sync occured 4 minutes after I wrote the words. Pretty radical.
